Excellent Premium Cabin Availability to Buenos Aires on AA!

Reddit user Paandemic has alerted me that AA is showing some fantastic premium cabin availability right now for routes to Buenos Aires (EZE) out of Miami (MIA) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) for later in the year! This is a route that I tried to find award space on for my trip to South America last year, but it was definitely difficult to find space on.

For the Miami (MIA) to Buenos Aires (EZE) route, starting in late June, premium cabin award space seems to open up and get consistently better from there.

And in August there is availability 5 days of every week!

This applies to the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Buenos Aires (EZE) route as well where starting in August, there is premium cabin award space 5 days out of every week!

Availability on the return to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) or Miami (MIA) looks pretty good as well with most weeks having at least 4 days of premium cabin award space.

On both of the routes to Buenos Aires, AA operates a mix of their 777-300ER and 777-200 aircraft. The 777-300ER is AA’s flagship airplane and features the superb reverse herringbone seats in the business class cabin. The 777-200’s are starting to seriously show their age and feature angle lie-flat seats in the business class cabin. Make sure you look for the ’77W’ designation if you are booking these flights as the product is a night and day difference.

On the return leg of my most recent South America trip I was unable to find any reasonably priced premium cabin award space for 2 so I opted to redeem some of my Delta Skypesos Skymiles for an economy class redemption. Even though I purchased economy comfort seats for the 10+ hour flight, it was still the most uncomfortable I have been on a flight in as long as I can remember. If you can snag a redemption on a 77W flight, you really cannot go wrong with spending ~10 hours in that spectacular reverse herringbone seat!

Final Thoughts

It can be difficult to find saver level premium cabin space to and from Buenos Aires, so it is pretty exciting to see this much saver space opening up – especially on 777-300ER’s equipped with reverse herringbone business class seats!
